Hi! I'm Jeanie I was banded on feb 8. So far I've lost 27 lbs. I did not have to do the preop diet. I had my third fill yesterday. So far I'm doing great!

Hi! I had my surgery feb 8th. So far I've lost about 25 lbs. The problem is that when I get a fill I can't really tell a big difference. When the dr is doing it I just can't really feel anything. Is this weird? I'm getting hungry about 2 hours after I eat. My next fill is tues and my dr said he wanted me to be down 6lbs by then so far I'm only down 3!!

Hi! Congrats we are 1 month apart from getting our band! I got mine feb 8th. Dr wellborn is my dr and so far so good! I've lost 23 lbs and had my sec fill last tues. I didn't have to do preop diet. I live in Hot Springs. We should keep in touch!

I am also 1 month post op. I have been walking about a mile a day with lots of hills. I have lost 20lbs so far and go for my first fill on tues. I'm ready for it! Have you had a fill yet?

I waited 3 or 4 days I can't really remember but I was STARVING!!! I think that was the hardest part of the whole procedure to date! I think I started on cream soups sooner than I was supposed to because I just could not help it! You can do it though!!! I hope we stay in touch also I will give you all the details of the fill. I'm ready for it but I'm nervous it's going to hurt. It will be worth it though at least I hope it will be!!

Hi!!! I from Hot Springs AR. I had my surgery on feb 8th and I've lost about 19 lbs. I go for my first fill next week and cannot wait. The first few weeks I was starving but it has gotten better. My doc is wellborn in little rock. Who is yours?

Thanks so much y'all! This bit of info from other people helps me feel much better. The waiting us driving me completely bonkers!!! So glad I found this app on my phone.

Also I have sleep apnea which I've had since 07 and they have two different sleep study records. My BMI is around 42 I've done the psych evaul and the dietitian so I just don't understand the hold up.

Hi all! I've been in the process of trying to get approved for LBS for awhile. I have anthem blue cross blue shield of Virginia. So I just called to see if maybe I had been approved and they said its pending from lack of clinicals (med records). Has anyone else had their insurance say this?
