plateaued with 47lbs to go

I was banded 3-11-11. I have lost 117lbs since. For the last 2 months I have stopped losing. I lost steadily before hand, 2-3lbs a week. I was tracking everything with Myfitnesspal, but stopped tracking 11-11-12 when I went away for my one year anniversary. I need to start tracking again, I know. What else can I do to get back on track?

Also, expect plateaus. But don't allow them to give it a reason to stray from your diet.

Look at your diet. Fall back to what you were eating at the beginning.

It will come off. Be patient. Be positive, look where you are!!!!!!! Congrats!

Congratulations on your weight loss. Definitely take an honest look at what you are eating. For me, increasing my protein and solid foods usually kicks things off. Keep up the exercise and water. Make sure that you are getting enough calories. Be patient, your body will catch up - just remember how far you've come.

Thank you both. Honestly, I probably haven't been eating very healthy which is why I'm back to my myfitnesspal app starting today. I will get it back on track. I do excersize, but perhaps my body has grown complacent with what I do. A little change up could help. I have to be careful though, I have slipped disks in my lower back from a car accident. It can be very easy for me to throw out my back and be out of commission for a week. Thanks for the positive reinforcement!!!

See... You knew deep down inside what you need to do!

Keep going! You're doing fabulous!
