IT'S BEEN A MONTH SINCE SURGERY

Had my surgery on November 19th and have only lost about 3lbs. I have a10cc band and no fill at time of surgery.

I lust more weight before surgery, 7lbs in two Weeks.

I don't eat anymore now than I did the two Weeks before surgery.

I'm at a loss.

I feel like I'm starving 2 hours after I've eaten.

I'm not discouraged. I'm just unsure of what to expect and why I'm not losing weight.

If you are on solids eat those when possible. Mushies and protein shakes won't stay with you.

Hang I there. Eat protein first and do not drink while eating or atleast 30 minutes after ( 90 min if you can stand it). If your already doing all that then I'd talk to doctor/nutritionist. Good luck, you can do it!

Have you had any fills yet? Prior to having adequate Fluid in the band, it's hard because your hunger isn't satiated.

I found concentrating on calories rather than meals helped me to control hunger and still lose before I had fills. If I was focusing on 1200 calories a day, I'd spread it out so I could eat every 2 hours. For me, it worked. I continued to lose even before I had fills.

Hang in there, it gets easier.
