Lapband With Plication?

I am getting the Lapband surgery on November 19th, and was wondering if anyone can give me any advice or news they heard about adding the plication? I am supposed to let me doctor know this week if I want to do the plication or not, I have heard good things about it but it makes me nervous that there are no long term studies in the US about this, any help? Please

I'd also like to know about the recovery with plication.

My health insurance does not cover it yet, I think most don't because it is so new (when done with lap band t has been done for various reasons in US) to the United States. My doctor has a grant and that covers the cost of that part of the surgery for me. I think my doctor has done about 100ish. I forget how many the grant allows. I am very happy to be included in the study.
