Newly Banded!

Hi there! I just received my band a couple of days ago (November 1)! Really looking forward to hearing from you about your initial experiences. I am excited and have lots of questions. Can I drink too much fluid during the initial fluid weeks? Thanks so much!

Just don't gulp!!! You need to stay hydrated just check with your doctor on what he/she advises. I found that I drank a lot just to fill full the first six weeks until my band was adjusted with a fill. I would drink broth, jello, protein shakes, crystal light, Isopure zero carb beverage ( sports stores and GNC). You want to keep your energy up as you heal which is the most important thing to concentrate on now...not weight loss. Good luck and hang in there:)
