  4. Hi I had my band put in on November 1 of this year. During the first three weeks, I lost 10 pounds and during the second three weeks, I did not lose any weight. I had my first fill 1 week ago today and since then I have gained 8 pounds. I am very concerned about this as I do not feel as though I and eating a lot. I do know that I seem to have no point of saturation and I do not feel full at any time. I am going back to see the doctor later this week and I am just feeling so down and depressed about my weight. I thought by Christmas time I would have lost at least 15 to 20 pounds. What is wrong with me?

  7. Hi there! I had my surgery on November 1 so I am just in my fourth week post op. Lately I have been feeling quite hungry and I know that I have over indulged on at least four locations. I haven't really had any negative side effects from doing this and that sort of worries me. I don't want to over eat and I will stop, however, I am wondering if I have stretched my stomach? I want to smarten up right away and stop this behavior. I just hope I haven't done damage. I don't feel any different so hopefully all is well. Just wondered if it is at this stage easy to over eat. I was always told that it was not easy to overeat. Just so you know I have not had a fill yet but have one booked in approximately 2 weeks. Can someone please provide me some assistance. I really appreciate it.
  8. Hi, I just asked one question and received some very helpful replies. Thank you kindly! Already I have another question. My surgery was on November 1 and Steri-Strips/bandages were placed over my incisions. Everything seems to be healing well and three of the five steri-strips have fallen off. Is this too soon and should I be placing new bandages over the incisions? Thanks for any insight.
  9. Hi there! I received my lap band on November 1, 2012. For the past two days, I have been experiencing a stitch or cramp underneath my left breast over close to my side. 11. Hi there! I just received my band a couple of days ago (November 1)! Really looking forward to hearing from you about your initial experiences. I am excited and have lots of questions. Can I drink too much fluid during the initial fluid weeks? Thanks so much!
