Not Eating Enough

I'm having a hard time eating now. Day 2 of pre op low calorie diet. It's like my appetite is gone and I'm nauseated over everything but milk and peaches.

What happens if I don't eat enough calories prior to surgery?

You are doing good by not eating lots of bad foods. I drank Protein shakes Breakfast and lunch then a small dinner salad and lost 34 pounds prior to my band date. The doctor wanted me to lose 12 pounds. My food intake now after the band is about 1200 calories and I'm down close to 60 pounds off.

Keep up your hard work and it will pay big dividends to you and your weight control. Ba Patient!
