First Workout Since Surgery

Today was the first day of working out since the surgery. I am doing p90x. Nice workout but got about 3/4 through the first day and about 3/4 through the ab workout. I feel good I will be sore tomorrow.

What workouts are others doing?

Thats great!! how long after the surgery did you begin? and p90 is a rough workout! so thats awesome you are able to do it. I myself will be doing zumba because I love to dance. lol. and something for muscle tightening that I need to figure out. Good luck! :)

It has been about 2 weeks. My surgery was oct 4th. Zumba is a good workout for sure. I am not the dancing type. Lol

I'm not graceful enough for Zumba :)

I do the elliptical and jog daily. Every so often I'll do one of the Insanity workouts but last time I did, my port area was super sore for about 5 days after. I really, really love Insanity but it's pretty intense.

Yea my port area was a little sore today also.

Hiya banded 23days ago my surgeon in the Uk says mild walking no excersise for 6 wks, ?? In states you guys are on it, I feel I want to but do not want him to hag me ...

I don't know if I would be doing anything as strenuous as P90x this early. If your doc feels its okay and you feel okay. Then hit it dawg..I myself I do treadmill and lift weights.i try to be active as much as I can.A body in motion stays in motion.plus it helps to keep you out of the fridge.
