Pre-Op Diet Weight Gain?

I started my pre op diet ( shakes, 1 veg, 1 fruit and 1 starch) and lost 2 lbs per day until yesterday when I GAINED back 2 lbs very frustrating. I was really strict and careful. Anyone else have this experience?

Your weight can easily fluctuate a couple pounds from day to day, especially depending on your female cycle and Water retention. Plus, whenever you first start dieting, the initial 7-10 pounds lost is usually excess fluids.

I would just keep following your doc's diet as you have been, the weight will come off.

..and maybe try to restrict your weigh ins to once a week? This way those little fluctuations won't stress you out.

Best wishes to you.
