I started in Feb 12 also, and finished my process in July. There was a problem with the Dr Office where they said they applied for the auth but never did! 2 weeks wasted on that, but a week after that

I also just finished my 6-month diet and my appointment with the surgeon isn't until Oct 23!! I was hoping to be banded by the Holidays so we'll see!!

I was one of the lucky one's who's insurance requires a 6 month diet tracking with a nutritionist. I started this process in 01/12 with the consult, 02/12 to get the Doctor, 03/12 we started the nutritionist meeting, the therapist and food logs. I just finished the 6 months and NOW it's time for my office to submit the paper work to my insurance for the approval for surgery.
I originally thought that I was going to be an October Bander, but now, I have no idea what to expect on when, or even if I will be approved. This is probably the most insecure that I have felt this whole process! This part sucks. I wish I had a date to at least feel comfort in the waiting process. UGH!
