How Often Should I "eat" 7 Days Post Op

I am on the thicker soup portion of my post op diet. I am running into how often should I eat? I've been having a protein shake for breakfast and one in the evening but since it's just liquids I find myself hungry a lot. I've been trying to get myself on a schedule. Thanks for the input.
