Surgery Consult Was Today

And it went GREAT!! I love the nurse that does the adjustments and one of my questions was how long do you follow your patients....her response....for a lifetime. I was glad to hear that as one of my fears was, they get you banded, do your fills, then it's "well, see ya later" The surgeon saw no reason why I would not be a good surgery candidate and said I should hear in about a month from insurance. Then a few more appointments and I can schedule surgery...which tentatively I've already planned for November 30 due to scheduling issues at work. My surgeon said he thought I could go back to work in a week even though I am an OR nurse but I think I'm still gonna plan to take 2 weeks off.

That's great! Yes--my doctor also told me they will track me forever and after I reach my goal, I still have to show up once a year to check in. Hope it all works out according to your timeline!
