I've been banded for 6 months with the 11ml band. I'm already at the 11ml fill and still have not reached the green zone. Has anyone ever heard of this?

I honestly haven't heard of that before.

Are you you hungry all the time? Not satisfied on a cup of food or less?

Did they remove all the fluid and measure it to make sure that is the amount in the band?

I have heard of them missing the port and there could also be a leak. I would make sure you have them measure exactly how much is in there. You can't just go by adding how much was added at each fill.....other things can be going on.

Yeah I haven't heard of anyone else with this problem either. Yes they removed all the fluid to make sure there was no leak. I've also had the live X-ray don't at almost each fill to make sure the barium is moving through correctly. Everything seems correct except its almost like the band is to big for my anatomy if that makes sense.

That's really quick filling in such a short time! I've been banded since April last year and still don't have that much.

Agree with the suggestions about having your fill levels checked.

Yeah I have to talk to my doctor. I was really shocked when i reached my fill capacity. Its a little discouraging I thought I'd reach my green zone like 4 fills ago.
