The Gas We Pass.....

I just got approved for surgery for Septemeber 7th(yay me!) and have a question about my pre-op diet. 3 weeks out I have to drink 2 high protein/low carb shakes a day plus one sensible meal. Will the shakes cause gas? I drank Slimfast a long long time ago and it gave me horrible, disgusting, terrible gas. I literally could not stand to be in the same room as myself. Does anyone know if these shakes do the same thing or is it different entirely? I really do not want to relive my childhood where, at my house, farting was considered a competitive sport! Anyone have any thoughts on this not so great subject?

Sincerely,

fostermomma who hopes to NOT have to change her screen name to pottie pooterson!
