Liquid Diet

What liquid diet do you all follow for the two weeks before surgery? Do you do additional vitamins as well?

    What liquid diet do you all follow for the two weeks before surgery? Do you do additional Vitamins as well?

    liquids, Protein shakes with ff milk

    applesauce sf, sf Jello, sf pudding

    no diet soda or alcohol

    reg vitamins

    stopped vitamins a week prior to surgery per dr request (vit e reasons)

    56gs of protien (2 shakes), Water, sf Jello, sf popcicles, gatorade (as per Dr after dehydration) and chewable Vitamins. I can not stress enough, hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!!! I am on stage 2 now and have introduced yougurt, thin grits and thin mashed potatoes.... but am still being very careful about hydration! These stages will be behind us before we know it ;)
