am gonna be tough, dont hate me please: the first thing you need to do is quit comparing yourself to your family. you are not them. you are you. so unless you do that , you will not get anywhere.

I agree with the others. But you really should be keeping a food diary of some kind so you know how many calories you're consuming? You confess you may be getting your calories from liquids? How many

It must be very frustrating and disappointing for you knowing that other family members have done well and you are having problems. when you say you are having chicken and drinks... for starters...
I am writing on here to seek some help/advice from you all. I am one of four in my family to have had lapband. One of my aunts is extremely successful, her name is ExitMelanie on YouTube. She does great with little to no sugar, low carbs and lots of Protein and tons of exercise. My other aunt has been extremely successful with just reducing her portions alone. My mother has been somewhat successful again by simply reducing portions. That leaves me...
April 12th was my one year, "sugiversary," if you will and I was the EXACT weight I started at the day before surgery. As of right now I'm roughly 10lbs lighter but I'm chalking that up to the fact that we've just recently moved and I've been swimming a great deal in our new pool, but I digress. Since surgery my portions have been easily cut in half if not more. My diet mainly consists of chicken and drinks. I'm not sure if I'm drinking my calories, perhaps? I have a 10cc band and I believe I have 6.4ccs right now. I was at 7ccs at one point but it was so tight I couldn't get any Water down and had to have an emergency visit with my surgeon, I have an appointment for a fill next week although I'm hesitant because I get stuck so very often.
Anyway, the reason I am writing to you all is to get your opinions. I have tried the exercise, low sugar, low carb, etc. but nothing seems to be working. Have any of you had this issue? If so what did you do? I'm considering getting all of my Fluid taken out and starting over but I'm concerned about gaining weight when I have no restriction. Any helpful tips, meal plans, ideas are greatly appreciated and if I need to clarify anything please let me know! Thanks in advance!
