If you stay well hydrated it is not as tough as it sounds.

Drinking "flushes" the food through your pouch so you do not feel satisfied as soon as you would with out it. I found a video once with a great visual for this. They showed how slow applesauce went through a funnel, then added Water and you were able to see how quickly then it went through the funnel.
