2nd Fill Kickin In :)

My second fill of .5 cc (total 1.5cc) is starting to kick in. Had food stuck 2x and my first PB last night on a stinkin but delicious piece of chocolate... yes, chocolate of all things.

The point of this post is to say that for those of you who are waiting for a fill...... hang in there, they really do make a big difference.

I went from 1 cc and being able to eat EVERYTHING and as much as I want (not having to chew either) to 1.5 cc and getting food stuck. TOM is on the way and that always makes me tighter and I know it might not last but I'm really happy that I am feeling restriction after 5 months of being banded.

Hang in there folks !!!

Very happy to read your thread on this subject! LOL! I've been banded since 1/18/06. Have had one fill of 1.5. Going in next week for number two fill and really hope it helps. I don't have much restriction at all. I've lost about 15lbs but feel like I'm still eating too much. My wonderful hubby says I'm expecting too much and that I am definitely eating less than pre-band. So we count the blessings. But your post gives me something to look forward to! Thank you and keep us posted!

I just read this post after I PM'd you asking about it.

PB on chocolate..been there done that. I get way, way more restricted as I near my TOM also.

Glad all is going well.

:cry I never want to feel like that ever again!!!!!! My fill kicked in and it kicked my ass!!!!! I went to Cracker Barrell with my mom and husband yesterday and had the tortilla soup which went down ok but then all of a sudden... WOW!!!....I thought I was going to die. I went to the bathroom and paced for a bit and then I "went" to the bathroom and thought..." :omg: Oh no! This is my first major PB and I don't like it!!!And I couldn't get anything to come up!" So finally...My body decided that both ends was a good idea.....OH DEAR GOD!!! I WANTED TO CRY!!! So...I got that over with and have vowed to not do it again!!! Although I am sitting here in a little pain after my snack...I just need to get use to my fill :cry and figure everything out AGAIN! I guess it's mushies again! Not even scrambled eggs are working out!

YaaaHooooo! The girl got restriction!!!!!!!

OUCH on the PB, but you know I have been there more times then I want to share about ... LOL

Kathy maybe you just ate to fast. Sucks don't it. I got food stuck 2 times before I had the chocolate PB.... I"m such a doomkauf (sp?) LOL CHOCOLATE of all things.... how anal is that.

Sorry it happened to you while you were out. I tell my DH and my friend that if I ever look like a deer with headlights shining in my eyes, not to freak out, its only me in pain ROFLMFAO!!!

I have learned that if i get that pain / stuck feeling, I take some really deep breaths and some times it helps the food pass.
