Thank you for sharing. I am only 2 weeks in so it is wonderful to hear such a good report. Congrats on your success!

Congratulations that's awesome. did you ever get discouraged? I feel pretty discouraged now since I haven't lost in 3 months but then again I haven't been back in to the doctor since the end of May. But I'm very happy for you way to go.

Congrats. That is so wonderful to hear. I love hear success stories!

WOW ! Congratulations !

I did experience plateaus, I went back to my dr every 3 weeks for the first year. Sometimes I got an adjustment sometimes it was just for accountability & nutrition talk.

After the first year I lost about 80 lbs, and it seemed like it was "free". I had to do very little. I didn't exercise and definitely didn't worry much about nutrition . I plateaued big time in year two. Only lost 2 lbs, I thought I needed a fill thinking more was better. I realized that wasn't the case, after 4 unfills I realized that I needed to divorce myself from the # in my band. I found that it actually worked better with far less Fluid. I had excellent appetite suppression and provided that I followed the rules in my Guide to Success I felt satisfied.

I added exercise to my routine and started maintaining a 1400 cal diet. (I'm very tall) and managed to lose over 50 lbs last year.

Exercise, nutrition & portion control are now just a part of my daily life. The iPhone app myfitness pal has helped tremendously.

I feel like I'm the real me for the first time in my life. I'm not hiding behind my weight anymore.

Once again, I repeat, wow, you are awesome! You are doing what we all should be doing, eating, acting like a skinny person! Karen
