What Does A Slip Feel Like?

Hi- for those of you who've experienced a slip, what did it feel like?

I'm having some chest pain in the last 3 days. I thought it was because I was overeating some, but today I was determined to stop the second I felt uncomfortable and realized I was in pain most of the day... It feels like something's squeezing me, not sharp shooting pain, rather a dull ache that's worse if I lie on my stomach and better if I lie on my back. I've eaten very little over the course of the whole day today (1c cottage cheese, 1/2c raspberries, less than 1c quinoa and veggies between). I tried having a Protein shake and feel it going down ok... Any thoughts? Obviously I'll call my dr tomorrow, but you guys usually know what's up...

Thanks for any advice.

How common is a slipped band? It seems like a lot of members here have had it happen. For those of you who have had it happen..does it alter your opinion on the band? I'm not banded yet and all this talk of slipping bands it making me slightly nervous.

It alters my opinion of that stupid bite of apple i took on the way back from the bathroom on the way to bed. Cause now I'm sitting on the couch at 2:30am waiting for food to pass that I never really wanted in the first place, and I will think twice about eating 1/2 asleep again. So, I think you could say I love my band.

My issue is somewhat different. I feel my food/liquids rite above my belly button. I have problems drinking fluids, i can feel them going down but i also it feels like a plugged up drain and I keep burping with some reflux no pain i just feel very full but only at the start of my stomach....i am frustrated can someone tell me what to drink to get rid of this? I have tried hot tea.

Hi I am six weeks out and have had problems since surgery coughing and a lot of foamy phlem and today I have another problem right below my breast i am having pain when I breath deep and almost all of the time i would like to know if it is a slippage or gall stones or something else please would someone tell me :( signed concerined

The difference between band issues and gallbladder is the side of your abdomin. Left side is band, right side is gallbladder. I dealt with slips for 6 months before I had my band removed, it's different each time and for different people, but I always felt pressure when I ate, and I couldn't feel sated, was always hungry, but also horrible reflux and waking up in the middle of the night coughing because of reflux. Hope this helps.
