Hey all I have been experimenting with foods to create healthy meal options for us bandsters. My two nephews live with me (13&9) and HATE healthy eating... Well I experimented sautéing with beef broth.. (totally awesome) and this is what I came up with.....
Eckrich Turkey sausage (1/4 inch sliced)
2-3 squash (1/4 inch sliced)
2-3 zucchini (1/4 inch sliced)
2 cups of frozen French green Beans
1 carton of low sodium beef broth
1tbsp or more of garlic powder to taste
Cut up squash & zucchini. Place in large skillet on med to high. Add 1/2carton of beef broth, garlic powder and frozen French green beans. Cook until squash and zucchini are semi-cooked. Add sliced sausage and simmer for 20 minutes.
1/2 cup serving =

You can also sub chicken breast, shrimp, or all 3. Everyone loved it!!!
