So I went in for a fill today and he had me drink water while the needle was in me siting up etc. I'm pretty sure that when he put the saline in it was clear. He had to back some out and I saw the needle after and the liquid was yellow. Anyone know why or had this happen to them?

?? Maybe what you saw was the iodine they clean your skin with before they put the needle in???

It's betadine or iodine a disinfectant that sanitizes the skin during a fill. My surgeon is so sweet and makes sure he tells me the procedure he is doing and cleans it up.

When the doc took out my fluid to measure how much was in there at around my 2 year mark the fluid was yellow. I think it's pretty normal and he was not alarmed by it.
