Getting Anxious!!!

I have completed all of my tests and appointments and now I am waiting on the Surgeon to review my folder and then send to insurance for approval. My Surgeon received the folder on last Wednesday, so hopefully it's been submitted to insurance. I don't know, maybe they call and tell me it's being submitted?!? I'm just ready for a date so I can know how to plan. I really want to start buying pre/post op necessities but, I don't want to jinx it. What are some of the things that you have done to take your mind off of "the wait"? Please help! I'm ready!!!!!!!!!! lol

Don't be afraid to call the office and ask.. Hey do you know if they submitted it. This way you will know. I always ask and joke with the staff when I call up a Dr office. Tell them your excited and nervous and generally as long as your nice to them.. they don't mind checking up.

I would also ask if they know how far out the surgeries are being scheduled for and they can give you an approx date say 2 weeks or more or less. Good luck!

Thanks for the advice!!

Yes definately call! When I called a week after being submitted, she got back to me and said it was lucky she called and checked with the insurance because they said they never got it!! She told them they needed to put a rush on it right away, I still didn't hear back for 4 more days. When I did hear back, I learned they had known for 3 days but were moving to a new office and were not able to call AHHH! Lol, don't they know we're waiting on pins and needles! They say not to call, but if I would not have called who knows how long it would have taken to hear back!
