Sudden Change

Hey everyone. I had my surgery on 2/20 of this year and I've lost 50 pounds so far and going strong. I'm at 5cc in a 12cc band, and I can go about 6 hours between meals without eating. However for the past few days I will eat and then be starving 2-3 hours later! Does anybody know what is with the sudden change? My next appointment is July 3rd for my monthly fill/checkup, should I ask to get in sooner? Thanks!

It depends on what you've been eating the last few days? If you're eating slider foods you will experience what you are experiencing.

But, it's also possible that some of the fat surrounding your stomach has evaporated due to your weight loss. This will cause your stoma portal to open slightly.

The best ways to judge this is, does your pouch still fill the same as before, stuck episodes? Are you feeling full as before?

I have say that for me, my band seems to have a mind of it's own. I can go 3-4 days and eat most anything without that stuck or overly full feeling. And then suddenly the same foods fill me up or give me that stuck feeling after just 3 bites. Go figger?
