I have not been banded yet, hopefully next month if all goes well. However, I have found my saving grace in solving my severe sweet tooth, Extra Dessert Delights Chewing Gum. My favs are Key Lime Pie, Apple Pie and Strawberry Shortcake. They are so yummy and satisfy my sweet tooth....Yippee!!!

I heard you shouldn't chew gum when banded...or maybe it's only initially. It's on another thread here somewhere. I know you're not banded yet but you might want to ask your doc about it for after.
