is ground beef typically a problem? i went to a support group yesterday and a lady there mentioned not being able to eat hamburger. just wondered if that was common or not?

I can still easily eat ground beef, but I choose not to because it's typically so high in fat. When I am cooking a recipe that calls for ground beef I use 93% fat free ground turkey instead.

I eat it with no problem. Depending on what I am making, I will use either 4% or 10% hamburger..

chicken breast and ground meat is a no no for me

Ive just bought some smoked cod. im hoping that isnt dry...any suggestions on how to cook it? ive just used some water in the past.

i can eat pretty much anything, including hamburger. If you are concerned about the fat content try turkey burger (Yum!). it 's very low fat, or even Bison burger. You'd have to get Bison at a specialty meat shop, and it may cost a little more, but you would be eating so little of it it would be worth it.(Yum again !)

I have found that if eating fish or chicken I just some low fat Italian dressing and it makes it juicy and tastes great... Never been stuck!! Keeping fingers crossed!!

Then add insult to injury' date=' when I urped it up in the restaurant toilet, I got the backsplash in the eye! And I mean it was perfect aim!! That is when I learned that if you put a seat protector on the Water before you hurl, it will stop the plop and splash back.[/quote']

Good to know about the seat protector...thanks!

I agree I can eat ground beef. A friend and I have a girls lunch out monthly and I will order a burger patty top it with low fat cottage cheese and have it with a side salad. If its over cooked and dry it will get stuck though so its trial and error for the individual. Ground turkey is what I use at home but same thing if it's too dry ur still gets stuck :)

Cocoabean that is awesome!!! I laughed so hard I almost cried! Best tip of the day cause I can so relate!
