Info on my fill..please

:phanvan HI all,

I just got a fill this past Thursday. It is the most put in at one time the first 2 times were only .? and this time was 1.8. Everything went down fine when I had left the office, drank over 32oz of Water while getting fill. I did my 48 hours of liquids, and more. I cannot drink anything cool or cold w/out pain. It hurts and feels like my tummy is spasming flipping out. And then I burp up what I drank. I have tried bites of food, only about the size of my thumb nail nibbles, once of chicken, once of super thin sliced ham- lunch meat, and another time hamburger loaded with ketchup for sliding down. It hurts and then I start sliming and get super nauseated like I have to Throw up. So far I have been able to not do that. I have had Wonton Soup w/ no wontons, so broth, hot tea, hot latte, and that is the only thing that does not hurt. I havent had this before. So it is new to me.. Is it common? My friend has the same problem more or less as far as not being to eat very much of solid foods... It also seems as if I have some reflux too. I did have that before my first fill, but it went away about a week after that.

So is this a normal thing, maybe just irritated? I am chewing tums now too.... According to my scale I have lost 4 lbs since Thursday...

Yes, you might well be overfilled - the hot liquids only could be a clue that your body is struggling to process food along your digestive path.

Don't know what kind of fill you got (from what amount to what new amount) but it sounds like you should call your doctors office and tell them what you told us.

Good Luck and Happy Band Journeys to all...

you are too tight, plain and simple! Having as little as .2-.4 cc's removed will make a huge difference in being able to eat but yet still give enough restriction to lose weight. 1.8 is alot of a fill to add to your prior fill, did he use flouro to see your restriction? Call your Dr. be a responsible bandster, there is no reason to have this much restriction, it is not healthy for you or your band!

No, my Dr doesnt use floro, he has me drink while filling and backs it out some til it -Water passes through. HotLikeMe on here has a lot of the same problems as far as eating except super soft foods, but since she didnt lose much he said that obviously something is going down so he didnt remove any...

The bad part is it is about a 2 hr drive up there to him... And I start working overnights tomorrow night...

It was something like .2 both times...then 1.8 the 3rd. I will call them tomorrow.
