I was banded on 2/6 and am having my first fill on 3/21. I am planning a vacation (cruise) on 3/26. Thoughts?

can anyone comment on how they felt after a first fill and whether it is wise or not to travel 5 days later?

Just speaking for my experience only - I felt fine after my first fill. You're on liquids for a few days though - so maybe it's hard to tell until you can get some food down. Have you checked to make sure you can get in for a bit of an unfill if you need to before your cruise? You'll only have a little time on real food to see if it's ok..... Probably lots of folks with more experience than me, so good luck on replies. *bump* again for you . Have a great cruise!

I have my first fill date too.. It's March 21st also.... I would tell my doctor about traveling right after so maybe he/she can take that into account since you won't have a chance to try real food very many days before leaving.
