Excited And Nervous

Just got the time for my surgery Wednesday. Have to be there at 8:30 am. Day surgery for me. Had a two week pre-op diet, down 10lbs. Really excited and nervous. I know things are going to go well.

For sure I am dreaming about lap bands. Good luck to you. I am really nervous how about you? How long on your pre-op diet?

Ive been on clear liquids and protein shakes since last Wednesday. Until yesterday I was also eating a sensible dinner too. Now it's all liquids. I've had 700 calories today and 72g of protein. I'm feeling rumbly in the tumbly tho. How about you?

I have been on my post-op diet for two weeks. 2 protein shakes a day and 6 oz. of lean meat a cup of green veggies and a cup of fruit per day. (also crystal light, sugar free popsicles, and such) I have not really been hungry to much. My doc did not require the all liquid diets that some do. How long do you have to be on all liquid?

Technically all liquids (clears with protein shakes) for two weeks. One week pre and one week post op. I'm reading that some people are going to creamy foods just a few days post op. I'm wondering why my doc is so conservative...

I think your diet sounds much more doable. So jealous! I'm really a crabby Appleseed over here. I have kids to feed so I cant avoid real food. Wah!

In 24 hours I'll be so excited!!!

And in 48 hours I hope we are doing just as well.
