Started Pre-Opt A Week Early!

I have NEVER been excited to start a diet and I always start on Mondays. I always eat bad the weekend before as well. This week is three weeks pre-opt. I decided to change what I have always done. I started a week early and started on Sunday for my pre-opt diet. Starting it made the surgery feel more real. I was just too eager to began this weight loss journey plus I wanted to stop my brain from telling me to "eat this one thing one last time" or the "last meal" thinking. Luckily my pre-opt diet is only Adkins induction phase and not liquids like most people. If it was liquids I would be dreading the day!

It feels weird to be excited about starting a diet and I feel proud that I decided to start early. If I continued to have "last meals" for another week I could have 5 more lbs to lose. This way I may even lose a few extra and give myself a jump start to a new life.

Just thought I would share.

Katy
