I Need Help! Feel Rotten

I am going to try to keep this short. It was 1 year March 14 since I was banded. I have been fine and no major problems to speak of. On Saturday this pass weekend I had a migagraine and threw up several times. Since then I have felt terrible. On Sunday I could not eat anything it came back up. But in the evening I was able to keep down a little bit. Yesterday I threw up every time I tried to eat during the morning and afternoon. Around 6 last night I was able to eat a chicken breast slowly (took over a hour). But I have this gurgling in my throat and could not sleep last night because it did it all night long. I was having some acid reflux yesterday afternoon. I know what it is because I had it before being banded. Stomach virus and flu bug have been all around me so I was wondering if I could have a bug. I have not been sick with anything since being banded and not sure how a bug would make me feel.

Can anyone tell me what is going on. Have I just irratated my throat and stomach from being sick? I am 12 pounds away from goal and just can't figure this out.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry you had a rough time, have you checked out signs of band slipage? good luck

You may have a small slip from all the vomiting. You need to go and see your Dr so that he/she can check everything is OK. It is possible that you may need some Fluid taken out so that your band can rest and reposition itself.

I have just been through something similar after stupidly trying to eat steak . I got stuck, vomited all evening, stopped , went to bed and couldn't sleep as I kept waking up choking on acid (the whole night) so took myself off to emergency the next day. Had some fluid removed and they did a CT scan to check everything was still in place. I have had some of the fluid they took out put back in and have to see my Dr again in a couple of weeks.

O.K now here it is 12:00 pm and I feel 100% better. I have been able to eat. No acid reflux. I even drank water. Thats what I love about the lap band. Something starts and last a couple days and then its over. Can anyone explain this.
