Pre Op Diet

I am on a low carb, high protien pre op diet no more than 40 grams of carbs a day and drinking plenty water. It's amazing how many things have carbs in them!

I know what you mean.. I was given my pre op diet.. I was given Opti fast and and all my meals taking care of for 14 days.. My 10 after surgery was when I was on my own.. I had to have puddings, 2 protein shakes a day, fulids, cream of wheat, soup.. Wish you the best...

I started my liquid diet this past Thursday, for my surgery on 3/9!!!!

i hope i can do it! i find the hardest is making dinner for my family. almost everyday i've cheated, taking a bite of something. i feel like a failure already. i wish my dr., was like yours. one small meal a day. :(
