I had my surgery on dec 23rd and from the pre diet until my first fill which was feb 1st i lost 30lbs. This whole past month i have not lost a single pound. When he did my first fill he said i had 3.5 cc in a 10cc band and he will not put more in for 6 weeks. I hate being discouraged since this is about the time i would "give up" doing it on my own. I know that i just need to be patient and wait for my fills. I guess i just needed to vent LOL.. Thanks for listening!!

My first 4 fills were 2 weeks apart. I would call and tell them that you want to come in.

I did and he said no sooner then 6 weeks

Ami - I had my surgery on January 11th, and I had my first fill on feb. 24th.. Like you I got 3.5 cc in a 10 cc band. I ALSO lost 30 pounds from pre diet up until now, and I'm hitting a plateau. It sucks. I know how it feels but you have to keep the faith! There are so many success stories, that ours are bound to start sooner than later. I have to wait 6 more weeks for my next fill and I have no restriction right now, do you? Good luck! Keep on keeping on!

He gave me .5 cc today, which im kindof confused bc he said i had 2.5 and added .5 which would mean i have 3cc but i could have sworn last time he said i had 3.5... i dont know LOL oh well all i know is i got a little more so hopefully this helps a little. I have set a pretty high goal for the next 6 weeks (my next appt is april 11th) I want to be under 200 when i go that is only about 17 lbs... sooo good luck to me LOL

Kathleen I did feel a little restriction before this fill but i def couldnt eat like i used to. But for this month my goal is to make sure im eating the right way even if im hungry and if i am hungry and its not time to eat i will drink Water... like i said i have set a pretty high goal for myself but i have been on this plateau for a month now so i think i can do it!!!

Ami I had my 1st fill & im discouraged just like u I have no restriction. My surgery wad Jan 11th & have lost 17 lbs. I scheduled another fill for March 15th because I don't feel the restriction. I hoping it kicks it like some others come a week or 2 :-( . Good luck.
