Can I ask why it took so long for your first fill? Your choice or the doctors? Just curious.

I had hiatal and unbilical hernia repairs all done on the same day as my lap band surgery. My doctors had to fix a torn muscle in the abdominal wall from a botched surgery that happened when I got a complete hysterectomy, and the muscle tear was just left and not fixed. Because of all of that my stomach was so sore after my lap band and I ended up having 9 incisions. Healing was very very slow and when it came time for my 6 wk first fill I was not healed enough.
