Bmi 35-40 With Cormorbids?

I am BMI of around 36 but have comorbidities of HTN, DM, and sleep apnea.......would love to talk to hear from some others that are going down the same path getting approved.

You need to check with your insurance company. All insurance companies have their own reqirements. I was very fortunate that with a BMI between 37 and 38 and one co-morbidity, HTN, I was approved very quickly.

My BMI is 38 I have high blood pressure and I am type 1 diabetic. It took my insuracne 7 working days to approve the surgery, but prior to getting approved I needed to do 6 months of a supervised diet. Now that I have been approved I need to get clearence from a cardiologist due to my hight blood pressure. I was aprroved faster than I thougth I would be
