First Day On The Other Side

Hi Everyone!

I was banded today and I am really sore/in pain. My left shoulder bothered me when I first woke up in recovery, but that is all as far as shoulder pain. Most of my pain comes when I try to cough, get up and sit down. I can not sit upright, but slightly laying down. I do not have an appepitite at ALL! I just had my mom put a scoop of powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury powder in some apple juice. As well as, sipping Water. Im very drowsy from the surgery and Loratab pain medicine. I will keep you guys informed as I progress. Oh, I have not experienced any drowisness at all. Probably due to the patch I have on. Well, I am signing off now as my eyes are crossing as I type.

Good luck to everyone having surgery coming up!

Welcome to the other side, i was banded on 12/15/11. I'm slow but surly getting back to feel normal. Early on i had gas pain, thats prob what your shoulder pain came from, so invest in some gasx strips and walk, walk, walk, that will releive all the gas. I will follow u on her, i starting weights are the same
