Thanks! My doctor doesn't actually require a pre-surgery diet, however since my surgery is 7 days away (oh my thats the first time I can say that ) starting tomorrow I'm doing a Protein drink, liquid diet. Then Sunday and Monday I will do Clear liquids before surgery. Kind of had my last horrah of the year and am just ready for the new year and new me to start! Did you have your surgery in St. Louis?

Good idea to so the liquid protein shakes. It gets you ready for the week after surgery of liquids, and it can help shrink the liver before surgery. I had my surgery in KC. Do you have some shakes picked out? I spent a few days trying out a few to make sure I found one brand I like.

Congrasts on your date!!! I can't really Mentor you because I am in the same boat, but I live in St Louis and I am getting my sugery done Monday the 9th 2012!!! So I think it would be neet to have some one going through the same thing at the same time!! Help keep each other on track, etc.
