Wow Is This Normal ...

Hello every one .. I was banded on December 1,2011.. Down almost 15lbs in less then 3 weeks. I feel great, no more port pain, no more gas pain (left shoulder area) ,Burping is my only issue.

But Ive noticed I have to REMIND myself to eat. Its been 3wks since my last REAL meal. clear liquids my first 2wks and now start last friday on soft food 1/4 of each meal my nutritionist has plained out for me and an 8oz protein shake in between each meal.

Is it normal to NOT be hungry and I didn't even have a FILL yet?

Im loving it , but thought you only feel like that AFTER our fills. lol

Im losing the weight , but eventually it will stop if I dont eat.

I have to eat my oh so small meals to keep losing , I literally had to set a timer to eat . lol

Good luck and congrats !!!!

I wasn't really that hungry my first 5 months post op, I was hungry at meals, but not much around them. That went away after 5 months and I started getting hungry again. My doc gave me a small fill 0.75 ml, and it worked for about 2 weeks. Then I was hungry again, but I decided to just work with it. I quelled my hunger with drinking my crysta light. That fill took away my ability to eat breakfast without feeling like crap. Now I have a new lifestyle change. So you may get through a while without being hungry.
