My wife was banded on 11/1/11 she is doing great except shes been having pain on her left side. She thought it was gas but its been a few days now. . . . . It hurts when she takes a deep breath or sneezes. . . .

Has anyone experienced pain similar to this? If so could you tell me what your out come was?

Most people who have that type of pain think it's muscle pain, but if it's severe and she's really worried, give her doctor a call, just to be sure.

I had the same issue I thought I wasn't getting enough Water and when I started drinking more it went away in a couple days

She has had abdominal surgery so it is perfectly normal to have pain in the abdominal area. Remember, those instruments were working away inside her, not just at the incision sites. If it is severe and not improving, definitely get medical advice.
