Problems with weight loss after gallbladder removal??

Anyone on here had their gallbladder removed? If so have you had trouble losing weight??

    I had my gallbladder removed back in 2001. Since having my lapband, I have lost 100 lbs. So, I guess, my answer is no. Goodluck with you, tho'.Karen

    Yeah I have lost over 100lbs. but it seems like since I had my gallbladder last year...I have lost anymore. BUT I am only about 1/2 way filled with my band.

    Yes I got my gallbladder removed after losing around 80 lbs with the band. My surgeon did remove some from the band for the gall bladder surgery but I had it refilled as soon as I recovered. Went on to lose the last 30 or so pounds without any issues.
