I am a 34 yr old female, BMI 38.9 I weigh in @ 262 and I am 5'9", I weigh 62 lbs more than I did when I was 9 months pregnant
Been on yo-yo diets forever at least since I was 9- my mom has dieted ever since I could remember) I am tired of it all- tired of being tired, eating until I am miserable and then going back for Desserts.... I have teenagers I can not keep up with can't even walk around the mall without resting every other stop...
The turning point for me was when my mom told me she had stage 4 chronic kidney diasease-it was caused by hypertension/meds. So I was diagnosed with high blood pressure 2 years ago and when that came to light I decided I did not want to be that way. I did not want to be 60ish and on dialysis for the rest of my life.... Sooooooo........ I have been researching WLS and I have decided I want to be banded. I am so ready to make this commitment to myself..... I want to be active and keep up and most of all I want to be healthy and show my children to eat right and be more active- not continue to be cyber-babies.....This is my first time in a forum like this, sorry for being everywhere, there are so many things I want to share.....
Looking forward to the Journey!
