The Dora the Explorer song

It has come to my attention that there are some mommies out there who may not know the most important lyrics to the Dora the Explorer song. I do not know ALL of the words, but I am thinking we can all put our heads together and come up with all of them. so here is my contribution....

and just so you know, in an effort to keep this discussion related to wls, i will be dancing as i sing this, for exercise, of course...

We did it,

We did it,

We did it,

HOORAY!

Lo Hicimos!

We did it,

We did it!

Hooray!

:clap2:

Don't forget the daddies out there too.

I thought you meant the opening song, not the victory song.

I like the opening lyrics..

d... d... d... d... Dora

d... d... d... d... Dora

Dora Dora Dora the Explorer

Come on baminos,

everybody let's go.

Come on let's get to it

I know that we can do it!

Where are we going?

Clap clap clap!

To lose some weight!

Where are we going?

Clap clap clap!

To lose some weight!

So come on baminos,

everybody let's go.

Come on let's get to it

I know that we can do it!

i wonder how many of these cartoon songs we have been singing incorrectly...makes me think of a few months back. at work, we turned the radio to a classic country station. a song was on, i think it is called, "i love a rainy night" well something about rain anyway. the song must have been out when i was 4 or 5 years old or something. well, it never really occurred to me, as i was singing along, that i was singing the words that my mind heard when i was 4 or 5 years old. so, on karaoke friday in the office, i busted out with a big-

"windshield wipers slapping out a ten-four

keeping perfect rhythm with the song on the radio-yo"

hmmm...if you know the adult style lyrics, then you would have been

singing it like this...

"wind-shield wipers slapping out a TEMPO

keeping perfect rhythm with the song on the radiooooooo..."

lmao:pound:

some friends and i took our girls to see the live play of dora's pirate adventure yesterday, and i was telling them how this random thread popped up!

good show.

hicimos is the conjugated form of hacer = to do, to make. and all this time, i should have known that, geez!!!!

BUT THANKS!!!!
