Traveling and Eating!

I had my surgery on September 12th and I am now venturing onto returning to traveling.

I'm going to be in another state for 5 days and staying at a hotel and I'm curious to anyone who has also traveled, what did you bring with you as far as food? How did you prepare yourself in the dining out situation? What should I stick to on a menu? I know what I HAVE to stick to and what I WANT to stick to, but I'm used to diners and having them customize everything for me. Where I'm going, there won't be too many diners that I'm aware of. Any eating out tips?

I travel alot with my job and have no issues. I take my Protein drinks and use the fridge in the rooms. I also grab a yogurt and ceral in the morning from the Breakfast area of the hotels I stay at. As for eating when I am on the rode I order things like Soup or chili. Sometimes I order grilled chicken breast with veggies. I have less issues on the rode than when I am home.ohmy.gif Maybe because I am more carful or its because I am alone and no one to talk to during dinner so I pay better attention to what i am eating.
