:help: I have been having this really tight feeling in my throat, NOT my chest but right above on my lower throat part. I have NO restriction at all, I can eat like a normal person, maybe even more...

Sometimes it is tighter then other times, when it gets really really tight my saliva glands go crazy, and it hurts really bad. I have had heart burn in the past but since the band I have not had any symptoms. I dont know if this is Acid Reflux I am feeling (was told heart burn and acid reflux are diffrent)..

What are your ideas on it??? Should I call my Dr.?

Could you have slipped? I for sure would call my doctor just to cover all the avenues. Eat soft or mushies until you can speak w/them & let us know aht they said. I hope you feel better soon.

When are you getting this tight feeling? Is it while eating? Or right after eating? This is the feeling I get when I eat too much. If it is at other times, then yu need to see you doctor..IMO

seems like i am having the feeling all the time, sometimes are worse then others. I dont think it changes with my eating.

**I called my Dr. and he was not in, They said he will call me when he gets back on Thursday. I guess I will wait and see**

Trish I would deffinatly call back on Thursday...thid could be nothing but it could be SERIOUS!!! Let me know if you find out anything. Almost sounds as if your esophogus is irritated or something!!

OMG Susan!!! That cracked me up... but I guess it does kinda sound that way huh LOL oh that is so funny!! I would think it would have gotten more hits!

Anyway I will be calling my Dr tomorrow, hopefully he wont be to busy, just coming back to the office... we will see
