mexico on referral only ?

just a thought here,

Should the clinics in Mexico ONLY take USA patients on referral from a clinic in the u.s ?

this way the mexico clinic knows that you already have your follow up care taken care of.

fair enough,

heres how im looking at it.

the Mexico doctor has no clue about your background in any form. so instead of calling up ,setting a date then go down, get a quick blood work up and ultrasound and ekg, then the next day get it put in. go home a couple days later.then a month or two later try to find a fill doctor.

thats about the avg mexico trip ive found. not true for all but avg.

so instead why not have them tied in with clinics up here that you can go to.

do all your testing up here, the blood test's done up here are far more detailed anyway.

you can establish a "relationship" with your aftercare fill doctor.

and i think the most important thing would be that for a clinic up here to bind themselves with a mexican doctor they would have to know how he puts it in, whats his clinic is like and is the guy really as good as he claims.

and now you already know who your fill doc is, you should have gotten all you re-banding info and all your new diet info.

i know alot of places up in the pacific northwest wont touch you regardless of what your willing to pay if they didnt see you before the band was put in. and they dont just exlude mexican patients.
