Calcium Nitrate Liquid (How much should I be taking?)

Good Morning! I haven't been taking my Calcium for quite a while now and my hair has started to fall out (thank goodness I have a lot of it!) I have bought the calcium nitrate liquid and am wondering if one of you can tell me how much I am supposed to be taking. Thanks so much!!

Please ask your doc about this and be careful of peoples advice here. Calcium is what is in arterial plaques that cause heart attacks so there are new recommendations for calcium supplementation which every woman used to be encouraged to take for bone density...you are gorgeous and have amazing hair but your heart is more important! Good luck...

Great advice, I'll give the office a call to see what they recommend. They always talk me into going to classes and support groups and everything else so I hate to call!!! I know, that's not a bad thing but I'm kind of busy now and feel guilty when I say not to those suggestions.

Have a great week,

Siobhan

Forgot to say, THANK YOU SO MUCH for your kind compliments!

Your hair loss has nothing to do with calcium. It's your body's reaction to the rapid weight loss. Once your body adjusts, your hair will grow back. It happens to most of us. Make sure you are getting enough protein and taking a good multivitamin.
