Nervous to find a new doctor

I have been reading a few forum threads and came across some where people stated that they had a hard time finding a doctor to take a transfer patient. I will be moving out of the state in a month and now I'm nervous I won't be able to find a doctor to do my fills and follow up care. Whats worse is due to the nature of my husbands job I won't know until a week before moving where we are even going. So has anyone else moved and had issues finding a clinic/doctor to take transfer patients or have you had no issues with this? Thanks!

No doubt things are different in the USA than here in Australia, but as soon as I knew where I was moving to, I would be asking my surgeon for a referral to someone in my new area. And if that didn't work, I would find a new GP ASAP in my new area and ask them for a referral. Hope your move goes well.
