Lunch With a Friend

:o So I call up a friend from work and we agree to meet at a diner for lunch-it's around 1pm and all I have had so far was yogurt in the morning. I am hungry-I really want to eat and I feel as though I could eat (unlike mornings).

Anyway this friend knows I have the band...I order a garden veggie egg beater omellet, fruit cup (instead of home fires) and no toast. Well, I could barely get 4 bites down. I had to ask for a to-go box and I ate 2-3 small pieces of fruit. I guess that wasn't a good choice for me. I am thinking eggs over light might go down better-geeze!

Tonight we are going out for my daughter's birthday-I was going to do Hibachi -but no way can I do that and not stand out. Only thing I can eat is seafood and at night I can mange more.

You sound to tight to me. My doctor says if you can't eat 3 oz of solid protein you are too tight.

It may have been the veggies in the omelet. The first time I went out for Breakfast after my surgery the green peppers about killed me.

BTW, 32 pounds already!! You go, Girl! I knew you were gonna rock your band!

It can be just because too. I sometimes find that I thought I was hungry and ready to eat and all I manage is 2 bites and I just know that its going to be ugly if I push it. I'm particularly like that after exercise, but its just random. If it resolves itself and you can eat next meal dont worry about it - sooner or later you'll cautiously try the same foods again and may find that there's no problem. I actually also find that's more likely to happen if I've let myself get really hungry.

I can't do scrambled eggs or omelets anymore. I have to have my eggs over medium. That started with my 2nd fill. I have heard of several people having the same issue.

Neither can I! I just can not get a scrambled egg/omelet to go down. I find that weird but I can't.
