I am getting banded 9/21....I'm on my liquid diet now. Final pre-surg testing scheduled for tomorrow. I am 34 and have 3 biological kids, 2 more through marriage...so we are BUSY! I have a background of stage work so I was at one time very small. I haven't been able to get weight off for years now and I'm really looking forward to this journey and change.

I live in the Chicago area and would love someone who has been through this, to join up with me and walk this journey with me! Let me know if you are out there!

I will be happy to talk to you. I am older (50) and my boy is grown up but I do have grandbabies that I keep and pickup from school plus work a job so I know about busy. I was banded June 20, 2011 and can buddy with you. I'm far away in Texas, but I have 3 kids and I'm 38... busy mom and full-time teacher!!

Cheri (above poster) is a great resource!! I've been communicating with her since I joined LBT and get to meet up with her tomorrow!! She's always given me good advice!!!
