Does anyone have any info on J & J lapband I know the FDA was in the process of approving

Are you referring to the Swedish Band? If so, what kind of info are you looking for?

I too have the Swedish band, which has been available in the UK for some time.

Apparently, it's softer than other bands, and takes a large fill (9cc?), which is ideal for people wishing to lose a large amound of weight (100lbs+).

Thanks to all of you for getting back to me. Yes I am refering to the Swedish Band .I am having a hard time finding someone in Houston to do the fill. Everyone tells me not until it approve will they consider doing the fills .Taking off work and driving to Mexico will be a little hard to do

MeganA I just had the band put on on 1-9-2006 so I know I am getting close to needing a fill .Any info you can give me about trying to set up a fill would be great
